Australian Paper Maryvale mill has placed another Procemex order for the Procemex- Piccolo Camera System for their Maryvale Mill, in Morwell, Victoria, Australia. This delivery covers the portable Piccolo web monitoring and paper quality inspection system. The systems utilises Procemex-Flex high speed HD matrix camera technology together with strobe LED illumination. The delivery was in April 2014. The application software, including as break camera recording, web defect analysis and image processing, is downloaded automatically. This technology has been developed particularly for fast running paper making and printing lines. The Piccolo system can be quickly installed on different paper machines, winders, sheeters, and converting or print houses. Australian Paper – Maryvale mill has placed an order for the Procemex-TWIN integrated Web Monitoring & Web Inspection Systems for their PM3 fine paper machine with a speed of 1000m/min in Morwell, Victoria, Australia. This delivery covers web monitoring and paper quality inspection systems. The systems utilise Procemex-Flex high speed HD matrix camera technology together with strobe LED illumination. The delivery will be in March 2014. Similar Flex camera hardware could be used for all applications. The application software, such as break camera recording, web defect analysis and image processing is downloaded automatically. All cameras are in the network and information can be easily received by the PM operators and for reporting purposes. This technology has been developed particularly for fast running paper making and printing lines. Similar Procemex Twin technology was delivered last year to Norske Skog Albury and Visy Paper Tumut mills. Procemex systems are also used in some printing plants in Australia.
