UJL Pty Ltd has launched another product of its own:
the UJL-CUTTER for cutting paper samples from paper reels. UJL-CUTTERS are
available in two model types: for machine direction (MD) and cross direction
(CD) sample strips. These tools help paper operators and testers obtain
accurate and uniform samples safely. UJL cutters are made in Australia. Free
on site demonstrations and trials are available for local paper makers. There
will be a presentation about industrial innovation and the UJL Cutter at the
Appita conference in Melbourne in April, 2010.
April 2009 UJL Pty Ltd has launched its first own product: MX-UJL press section moisture meter. The meter is used to measure the web moisture between the press section and the dryer section. The measurement range is from 30 to 70% and measurement speed can be from 200 to 400 readings per seconds. Accurate and reliable readings assist paper makers to better control and understand the press section moisture content. The simple structure of MX-UJL means that maintenance and installation are neither costly nor complicated. There is a free short-term trial available for paper makers. There will also be a presentation about industrial innovation and the MX-UJL at the Appita conference in Melbourne, Australia in April 2009.
